Critical and necessary investments
Geopolitical uncertainty and increased risk have led Western governments to decide on extensive investment programs for total defence. The EU needs to increase its defense appropriations by more than 40 % to achieve NATO's goal that defense investments should be 2 % of GDP.
Cyber security
Investments that cannot be avoided and are required at all levels
A megatrend driven by geopolitical uncertainty and a global, ever-faster rate of digitization. The growth rate is significantly faster than the market as a whole. Large investments are carried out by both states and companies and are difficult to avoid even in economic downturns

New global intensified race between superstates
Space is becoming an increasingly large part of our digitized society. Space is becoming increasingly strategically important and the world's superstates are making huge investments in space programs. Space is undergoing strong growth that is higher than the global economy as a whole.
We have great challenges ahead of us with a global security order that is truly challenged and poses real threats, at the same time we also have great opportunities & conditions to bring about great improvements in the world. But we need a clearer strategy & a strong united West and major investments in defense & resilience.
